Defence Construction Canada – Request for Abbreviated Proposals for Multi-Disciplinary Architectural and Engineering Consultant Services Source List for CFB Halifax, 14 Wing Greenwood and Satellite Sites in Nova Scotia.
In accordance with the rules, regulations, statutes, guidelines and the professional associations of the provinces where the commissions will be managed, Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Abbreviated Proposals from consulting firms to establish a Source List to provide “as and when required” professional services specific to Department of National Defence (DND) requirements at CFB Halifax and 14 Wing Greenwood, as well as satellite sites throughout the province such as Debert, Sydney, Yarmouth, etc..
The objective of this Request for Abbreviated Proposal (RFAP) is to select four (4) firms, with the highest total scores, who will be placed on a Source List (SL) with DCC to provide mutli-disciplinary architectural and engineering consultant services on an “as and when required” basis to a maximum estimated value of $6,000,000.00 for a period of two (2) years from the date of the SL establishment.
If mutually agreeable between the Consultant and DCC, the SL may be extended for up to three (3) additional one (1) year periods and increased in the order of $2,000,000.00 for each additional year or when the SL reaches its maximum limit, whichever comes first. The total possible value of this SL is $12,000,000.
Commissions are expected to be valued between $20,000 and $50,000; the maximum value of a commission is $350,000. The SL is not a commitment by DCC to spend the entire amount.
Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the Request for Abbreviated Proposals.
This opportunity follows procurement procedures in accordance with Chapter 10 of NAFTA.
