THIS AMENDS THE CLOSING DATE OF THE NPP POSTED ON THE MERX
ELECTRONIC SYSTEM TO 04 DECEMBER 2012.
The Cloud Physics and Severe Weather Research Section of
Environment Canada (EC) requires two (2) highly sensitive
ceilometers to measure cloud height in support of the Canadian
Airport Nowcasting project. The instruments are to be delivered
to: Environment Canada, 4905 Dufferin Street, Toronto ON M3H
5T4. The Ceilometers will measure ceilings and multiple cloud
layers from the ground up to 7.5km above the airport. One of the
goals for these installations is to provide data to generate
short range forecasts, or nowcasts, for aircrat and helicopters
flying out to the Hibernia oil fields.
All deliverables are requested 4 weeks after receipt of contract
award, but must be delivered on or before March 29, 2013.
A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation
and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be
declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest
evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.
