AAFC’s Swift Current Research and Development Centre requires two (2), 3-tier flexible plant growth chambers with movable and removable lighting in order to provide one, two or three tiers for plant growth. The units must be programmable and capable of precise temperature and humidity control. The single-tier configuration must be capable of providing a light intensity of at least 1100 µmoles m 2 s 1 in a single tier configuration, and at least 500 µmoles m-2 s-1 in a multi-tier configuration (measured at 150 mm). One unit is to be equipped with the ability to increase CO2 concentrations above ambient.
Preferred completion of delivery on or before March 31, 2020 with a mandatory completion by June 30, 2020.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
