Question:
Solicitation # W8476-134085/B Configuration D has not included
as an attachment any loader mounted snow blowers. Please confirm
if a Snow Blower Unit is required for Yellowknife NWT
(Configuration D).
Answer:
Configuration D requires a Snow Blower Control Interface that is
capable of operating a Tenco TCS172 (VIN Number:
TCS172LMM3126BATAAC) which is currently owned by DND and
stationed in Yellowknife, NWT. No additional Snow Blower Units
are required to support Configuration D.
All other terms and conditions remain the same.

This procurement is subject to the Tlicho Land Claims Agreement.
This procurement is set aside under the federal government's
Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business.
This procurement is set aside from the international trade
agreements under the provision each has for set-asides for small
and minority businesses.
Further to Article 1802 of the Agreement on Internal Trade
(AIT), AIT does not apply to this procurement.
The Department of National Defence has a requirement to purchase
one (1) Front End Loader and ancillary items in accordance with
the Purchase Description for Loader, Scoop Type, 4 x 4, dated
2012-11-19, and at Annex A - Pricing. The Front End Loader is
to be delivered at the location below by March 28, 2013.
Configuration D - Quantity one (1) at Canadian Forces Northern
Area, Headquarter Yellowknife, Yellowknife, Northwest
Territories.
The requirement includes an option to purchase up to one (1)
Front End Loader and ancillary items to be exercised within
twelve (12) months from the effective date of contract.
Debriefings
After contract award, bidders may request a debriefing on the
results of the bid solicitation. Bidders should make the request
to the Contracting Authority within fifteen (15) working days of
receipt of notification that their bid was unsuccessful. The
debriefing may be provided in writing, by telephone or in person.
