This Request for Information (“RFI”) is issued by the City of Calgary (“The City”) for the purposes of gathering information about the marketplace in order to assist in the determination of future purchasing options or requirements. Respondents are asked to respond to The City and provide the information requested below.
The City of Calgary manages a range of waste streams generated through municipal operations, construction activities, maintenance programs, and other services. Waste manifests and recycling dockets are currently used to track regulated waste throughout its lifecycle. The City is seeking information on software solutions that provide mobile/app-based functionality for creating, completing, signing, tracking and managing waste manifests as an alternative to paper copies. The solution should support users in the field while providing appropriate oversight, reporting, and access to records for administrative and environmental staff. The software should also help improve data accuracy, visibility, compliance tracking, and overall efficiency of the process.
