The City of Calgary will be seeking a Construction Manager to join the Project Team transforming and revitalizing Stephen Avenue / 8th Avenue S.
Together the Construction Manager, the City’s Representatives, and the City’s Design Professionals will form the Project Team. The Construction Manager will be responsible for leading the project implementation. Success will be demonstrated through the delivery of a high-quality urban public realm in a complex downtown environment that prioritizes implementing business friendly construction practices.
The scope of the project work is anticipated to include, but is not limited to, site preparation and demolition, temporary fencing, hoarding and detours, tree protection and removals, earthworks, concrete, asphalt and specialty surfacing, deep and shallow utility relocations, landscaping, business continuity strategies, and custom and specialty site furniture and streetscape amenities.
