The City previously retained Associated Engineering (AE) to complete a detailed visual inspection for the Chestermere Boulevard Bridge over the Chestermere Lake in accordance with the Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors' (ATEC) Bridge Inspection and Maintenance (BIM) system. The findings of this inspection are summarized in the attached report for background and informational purposes.
The outcome of this assessment should comprise a comprehensive outline of the financial investment required in the immediate future, a maintenance schedule and the remaining service life of the bridge if all the recommendations are followed.
