City of Lacombe - Request for Proposal - REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL SUPPLY AND INSTALL OF ABBREVIATED PRECISION APPROACH PATH INDICATOR'S AND LED LIT WINDSOCK

The APAPIs and LED Lit Windsock Installation Project aims to significantly upgrade airfield visual aids to improve pilot situational awareness and operational safety during approach, landing, and takeoff phases. This project involves installing a new Abbreviated Precision Approach Path Indicator (APAPI) system alongside a high-visibility, energy-efficient LED-illuminated windsock. These upgrades reduce long-term energy and maintenance costs. The successful proponent is responsible for all aspects of the project, including design, supply, install, commissioning and testing.
