The National Research Council (NRC) Canada’s Energy, Mining and Environment (EME) portfolio has a requirement for an ICP-MS capable of quantitative speciation and ultralow (sub ppb) analyses. The ICP-MS will be used to perform analyses for metal species including but not restricted to Se, As, Hg, Cu and Ni and /or ultralow total-element detection in aqueous phase mine tailings and waste water in conjunction with advanced chromatography based (HPLC, IC) systems, in accordance with the mandatory specifications detailed in Annex A for a delivery to Ottawa, Ontario.
