The Department of National Defence has a requirement for the
items mentioned below. The delivery is requested at: Canadian
Forces Supply Depots CFSD Montreal (Québec) by September 3, 2013.

AMENDMENT 003
This amendment is raised to provide questions and answers to
potential bidders as follows:
Question: With reference to item #2 on the subject solicitation.
Part #B51007-000 has items that are referenced to note 2 on
page 8 of 33. Are these items to be procured by DND or are we
to supply them?
Answer: All note 2 on drawing B51007-000 will have to be
provided by the Contractor.
Question: Some of the drawings on the CD are blurry and cannot
be read. Can DND supply clearer drawings?
Answer:Yes, clearer drawings can be provided. Please provide
drawing numbers.
Question: With reference to item #1 of the subject solicitation.
Part #B51007-500 item #'s 2, 3, and 4 drawings were not
supplied. Are we not to supply these parts?
Answer: Drawings are not provided because the Intellectual
Property rights are owned by the Original Equipment Manufacturer
(OEM). These parts are to be supplied by the Contractor.
Question: Will parts that have cage code 19207 be supplied by
DND? If not, how do we procure them?
Answer: No, they will no be supplied by DND. It is the
responsibility of the contractor to supply and procure these
items.
Question: Regarding Solicitation W8486-136771/B I would like to
know if Item 2 Grouser Rack Assy P/N B20105-008-1 is required.
This item is needed when the vehicle has steel tracks and the
entire fleet has been converted to rubber track. The M113 TA has
told us to remove the grouser rack some time ago.
Answer: No, the grouser rack is not required.
Question: Will parts that are noted as GSM on page 30 of
B51007-000 be supplied by DND?
Answer: Items marked as GSM do not need to be provided by the
Contractor. They will not be provided to the contract by DND.
DND will be responsible of procuring and installing these items
after the final delivery from the Contractor.

solicitation package by the Director Supply Chain Operations,
DSCO, Printing Bureau. If suppliers have not received the
documents at least ten (10) calendar days prior to bid closing
date, suppliers should communicate with the Contracting
Authority.
Insert: To order a copy of the DDL, drawings, and
specifications, bidders must contact the Contracting Authority
and provide their full mailing address. If bidders have not
received the documents at least ten (10) calendar days prior to

Debriefings
After contract award, bidders may request a debriefing on the
results of the bid solicitation. Bidders should make the request
to the Contracting Authority within fifteen (15) working days of
receipt of notification that their bid was unsuccessful. The
debriefing may be provided in writing, by telephone or in person.
