Nature of Requirements:
Compressor
Environment Canada, Canada Centre for Inland Waters, Burlington,
ON requires the supply and delivery of two (2) PowerEx Enclosed
Scroll Air Compressors model number SEQ2007HP. The compressors
will be used to ensure the continuous supply of high quality
compressed air to laboratory scientific equipment.
All the deliverables must be received within 8 weeks of contract
award.
Please refer to the Request for Proposal for the detailed
technical requirements.
Environment Canada will accept no substitute for this
requirement. The current compressed air system is comprised of
two PowerEx SEQ-20 units which supply nitrogen to highly
specialized equipment. The PowerEx SEQ2007HP is the only
acceptable model that will allow the necessary communication
between individual units. All compressors must communicate with
each other so that when system failure occurs, backup systems
will react automatically to ensure the continuous supply of
nitrogen to the equipment.

procurement.
