1.2 Summary
1. The Statement of work is as follows:
a. Carry out the design, construction, test, trial and
delivery of a 7.2 to 7.4 meter Aluminium OB Landing Craft, for
Parks Canada, for delivery in February 2014, in accordance with
the associated Technical Specifications detailed in the
Statement of Work and Project Management Services attached as
Annexes A and H. For any specifications, drawings, test sheets,
annexes and appendices not included in this document, bidders
are requested to contact the Contracting Authority identified in
the bid solicitation.

b. Outboard Boats are used extensively as
auxiliary craft for Government Service vessels, as well as
operating independently to carry out various program-related
activities from shore-based facilities and trailers.

c. The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World
Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement
(WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and
the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT)."

2. To carry out any approved unscheduled work not covered in
paragraph a. above.

3. Debriefings
After contract award, bidders may request a debriefing on the
results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the
request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days of
receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The
debriefing may be provided in writing, by telephone or in person.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
