Janitorial #6 - Clean Various Training Area Buildings, CFB
Gagetown

Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for the
furnishing of all cleaning materials, labour, tools, equipment,
supervision, travel and profit, required to provide janitorial
services for routine cleaning in various training area buildings
at CFB Gagetown, Oromocto, New Brunswick. All work is to be
completed in accordance with the Specification Number
L-G2-9900/1628 forming part of the bid document. The Service
Contract is from April 1, 2014 to March 31, 2015, with options
to renew for two additional one year periods.

It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for
site visit to be held on February 4, 2014 at 1:00 pm. Bidders
are to meet at the Main Entrance of Building B-18, CFB Gagetown,
Oromocto, New Brunswick. Bidders must communicate with the
Contracting Authority no later than three(3) days before the
scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the names of
the person(s) who will attend. Bidders will be required to sign
an attendance form. Bidders should confirm in their bids that
they have attended the site visit. Bidders who do not attend or
send a representative will not be given an alternative
appointment and their bids will be rejected as non-compliant.
Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting
from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid
solicitation.

New measures related to Code of Conduct and certifications
included in the solicitation documents requires attention.

The estimated cost (based on the Contract plus the two option
years) for this opportunity is within the following cost
category: $1,000,001 to $1,500,000. Bid and contract security is
required for this tender.
