This bid solicitation is being issued to satisfy the requirement of the Department of National Defence (DND) for professional services to create, provide and run up to five (5) web-based data science contests in support of its Innovation for Defence Excellence and Security (IDEaS) program on an “as and when requested basis” (task authorization). It is intended to result in the award of one (1) contract for approximately one (1) year, plus a one (1)-year irrevocable option allowing Canada to extend the term of the Contract. The Work will be performed at the Contractor’s facilities. The IDEaS program is an initiative of Canada’s defence policy – Strong, Secure, Engaged.
For services requirements, Bidders must provide the required information as detailed in article 2.3 of Part 2 of the bid solicitation, in order to comply with Treasury Board policies and directives on contracts awarded to former public servants.
Canada retains the rights to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
