PROJECT IDENTIFICATION: R.045880.002 - Conservation of Exterior
Architectural Metalwork at the Supreme Court of Canada, 301
Wellington Street, Ottawa, Ontario.
Project description: The scope of work for this project is to
undertake the conservation of selected bronze statues and
architectural elements located around the exterior of the
Supreme Court of Canada Building. It is of high importance to
maintain the heritage fabric of the statues and elements, since
the Building is designated as a "Classified" heritage property
by FHBRO (Federal Heritage Buildings Review Office).
Work is to be completed within fifteen(15) weeks after contract
award.
MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:
This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. At
bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Designated
Organization Screening (DOS). Failure to comply with this
requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further
consideration will be given to the Bid.
OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:
There will be an optional site visit on December 16th, 2014 at
10:00am. Interested bidders shall meet at the East Entrance at
the Supreme Court of Canada, 301 Wellington Street, Ottawa,
Ontario.

Enquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no
