Nature of Requirements:
The closing date of the Invitation to Tender is changed from May
1st to May 8th, 2014, 2 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).

Description of Work:
The project consists in repairing the Natashquan Wharf steel
sheet piling (S.S.P.) with steel plates secured to the face of
the structure as indicated on the drawings. Concreting is also
called for to join the elements being repaired. Work includes
the installation of new tie-rods to be covered with pavement.
Pavement is also placed in the portion of the work that is
without tie-rods. This project also includes miscellaneous
maintenance work.

Work Site: On the wharf at Natashquan, Province of Quebec.
The village of Natashquan is located approximately 375 km East
of Sept-Îles. The wharf under repair is the property of
Transport Canada and is located at the end of Chemin Robin.

Bid Security
Bidders shall enclose a bid security with their offer.

Period of Work
The work must be completed within a period of 210 calendar days
after contract award.

Budget
The budget for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.

Optional Site Visit
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site.
However, PWGSC will not be organizing a formal site visit but an
information session by conference call will be held on Tuesday
April 22th, 2014 at 09:30 am.
