PROJECT IDENTIFICATION:
Project No R.072652.002, Construction 5th Floor Refit -
Connaught Building
Building Address: 555 Mackenzie Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario, K1N 1K4.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This project is to continue the space refits for the User,
Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), at the Connaught Building, located
at 555 MacKenzie Avenue, Ottawa, ON. It involves partial
demolition and the construction of the fitup space with minimal
impact to the electrical & mechanical buildings systems.
Work is to be completed eight (8) weeks after contract award.
The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following
category: $500,001.00 to $1,000,000.00.
MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:
This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. At
bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Facility Security
Clearance at the level of SECRET issued by Canadian industrial
Security Directorate (CISD) of Public Works and Government
Services Canada (PWGSC). Failure to comply with this requirement
will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration
will be given to the Bid.
OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:
There will be a site visit on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 10h00
am. Interested bidders are to meet at the Ground Floor Lobby of
Connaught Building (555 Mackenzie Avenue in Ottawa, Ontario).
Safety Attire
It is mandatory that all individuals attending the site visit
have the proper safety footwear (CSA approved green patch) and
hard hats. Contractor personnel/individuals who do not have the
proper safety attire will be denied access to the site.
