Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement for Breakwater Construction at Carbonear, NL. The work will consist of but is not limited to the construction of a new 145m rubble mound breakwater. Contractor will supply and install approximately 14,800 m3 of core stone material, 7,400 m3 filter stone material and 14,900 m3 of armour stone. Also included is the removal and disposal of existing timber wharf.
NOTE:
Site work shall not commence prior to 15 April 2016, however all required permitting should be in place prior to this construction start date.

Contractors, bidders or those they invite to site are to review specification Section 01 35 29 - Health and Safety Requirements, item 1.11 Project/Site Conditions before visiting the site and take all appropriate safety measures.
