TITLE: Donnacona - Firing Range & Building Construction
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project involves the construction, according to the invitation for tender documents, of a shooting range, a training cell and a training vessel, at the Donnacona Penitentiary for Correctional Service Canada (CSC).
Construction of a 50 metre, exterior firing range with 8 shooting stalls without columns, including a covered shelter for shooters, a system of deflectors supported by the side walls in the central section and a shelter at the target end for the protection of abullet trap. This equipment must be supplied and installed by the Contractor. The building must include: a propane-fired radiant heater in the shooting gallery, a lighting system and an intruder security system with door opening detection.
Construction of a concrete exercise cell including cell doors and furniture for training personnel.
Construction of a training building for 12 people including a training room, a kitchen, a concierge room, two washrooms, storage space for documentation and equipment, and a mechanical room. The building must be connected to the sewer and water systems. The building shall be equipped with a mechanical system including plumbing, ventilation/air conditioning, automatic control, etc., of a heating system, an electrical distribution system, an intruder alarm system, A fire alarm system as well as telecommunication systems including telephone, internet connection as well as local wiring for the use of audiovisual equipment.

MANDATORY CRITERIA AT CLOSING DATE
- The Bidder must enclose bid security with its bid.
PERIOD OF WORK
The Contractor shall execute and complete the work within 24 weeks from the contract adjudication date.
