Work Description:
Work under this contract will include, but is not limited to the supply of all labour, materials and equipment necessary to construct a new house for the RCMP in Masset, Queen Charlotte District, British Columbia. The size of the lot is approximately 7000.0 sq ft./650.0 square metres. The size of the living area will be approximately 2252.0 sq ft./209.0 square metres. The two-storey and truss, wood frame home is to be built with the associated site work and site services, as outlined in the plans and specification of the tender package.
A site visit is recommended to be familiar with all site conditions.
Sealed tenders, completed in accordance with the conditions of the “Invitation To Tender” document provided, will be received by the RCMP at the following locations: RCMP MAIL SERVICES UNIT

CANADA. Faxed tenders are not acceptable; late tenders will be returned unopened.
Site visit:
Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.
Interested bidders can visit the empty site at 1905 Trumpeter Drive, Masset, BC during their own time.

Security Clearance Requirements:
This requirement does not have security clearance requirements.
Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project is estimated to cost between $300,000 and $450,000.
Delivery Date:
The work is to be completed within 26 weeks after contract award date.
