Marginal Wharf Construction, Fermeuse, NL
Public Works & Government Services Canada have a requirement for
work that will consist of, but is not limited to, the following:
a) Construction of a new marginal wharf; complete with laydown
area; b) dredging of existing seabed; c) installation of new
culverts; d) relocation of existing timber headblock crib to
secure floating docks, complete with new rockfill approach, and
e) installation of electrical work as per project drawings.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Bidders must refer to Section 01 35 28 - Health and Safety
Requirements, Items 1.9, Project Site Conditions, of
Specifications before performing any site inspections or
preliminary work at site.
2. Bidders recommeded to visit site prior to submitting bid.
3. No in-water work to begin at site until November 18, 2013.
Bidders must refer to GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS (GI) -
R2710T (2013-06-27) for the Code of Conduct and Certification
provisions applicable to this requirement.
