Title
Ruggedized tri-phase input to tri-phase output voltage and
frequency converser
Background
DRDC - Valcartier research centre needs a voltage converter in
order to conduct field trials in Europe. The converter will be
used to adapt European to North-American electrical standard.
Requirement
Provide and deliver to DRDC - Valcartier one (1) ruggedized
tri-phase input to tri-phase output voltage and frequency
converter with remote DC programming for voltage and frequency.
Must come with a display of RMS voltage and frequency.
The Contractor must provide the requirement with the following
specifications:
- Minimum power of 20000 VA
- Electrical input: 230/400 (+/- 10%) VAC, 3- phase, frequency
range : 47-63 Hz
- Electrical output: 120 VAC (+/- 3%) , L-N 3-phase isolated,
frequency: 60 Hz (+/- 3%)
- Unit must come in a ruggedized cabinet to be used in an area
with shocks and vibrations (e.g. with shocks).
- Unit must have a display of RMS voltage and frequency
- Maximum dimensions of 1 m x 1 m x 1 m
- Maximal weight of 250 kg
Delivery Date
All the deliverables must be received on or before 60 days after
contract award.
Additional Informations
As per the Integrity Provisions under section 01 of Standard
Instructions 2003, bidders must provide a list of all owners
and/or Directors and other associated information as required.
Refer to section 4.21 of the Supply Manual for additional
information on the Integrity Provisions.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
