Nature of Requirements:
1. TITLE:
SAFETY TRAINING COURSES
2. SECURITY:
There is no security requirement associated with the requirement.
3. REQUIREMENT:
To provide personnel at Department of National Defence (DND),
CFB/ASU Edmonton with safety training courses on an "as and when
required" basis to meet training requirements specified in the
Canada Labour Code, National Joint Council Occupational Health
and Safety Directive and the Department of National Defence
(DND) General Safety Policy and Standards. Training will take
place at CFB/ASU Edmonton. The contractor must provide the
following courses in accordance with provided prerequisites:
WHMIS, Fall Protection, Confined Spaces
4. EVALUATION AND SELECTION:
Mandatory technical evaluation criteria are included in Annex
"D" of the solicitation.
The responsive offer with the lowest evaluated price will be
recommended for issuance of a standing offer.
5. PERIOD OF STANDING OFFER:
It is anticipated that any standing offer will be effective for
a period of three (3 years from the date of issue.
6. CODE OF CONDUCT CERTIFICATIONS
Under the Code of Conduct and Certification provisions, 2006
(2012-07-11), Standard Instructions - Request for Standing
Offers - Goods or Services - Competitive Requirements, Suppliers
must submit the following as part of their offer:
a) a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently
directors of the Supplier;
b) a properly completed and signed Consent Form, for each
individual named in the aforementioned list.
This PWGSC office provides procurement services to the public in
English.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
