IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS Government of Canada is moving
its Government Electronic Tendering Service from MERX to
Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders on June 1, 2013 Starting June 1, 2013,
federal government tenders (tender notices and bid solicitation
documents) will be published and available free of charge on a

for Government of Canada tenders that are subject to trade
agreements or subject to departmental policies that require

1. TITLE:
NETWORK COMPUTER COURSES
2. SECURITY:
There is no security requirement associated with the requirement.
3. REQUIREMENT:
The Department of National Defence (DND) Edmonton Garrison
requires a Regional Individual Standing Offer (RISO) for the
provision of all instructors, materials, classrooms and
computers required to deliver various network administrator
courses as outlined in Annex A - Statement of Work. It is
expected that DND would register up to 14 students per year in
these courses.
The Offeror will provide the following courses:
CISCO Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices (ICND)1
CISCO Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices (ICND) 2
SharePoint 2007 Operations
SQL Server 2005 Admin
VMWare Install Configure and Manage
4. EVALUATION AND SELECTION:
Mandatory technical evaluation criteria are included in Annex
"D" of the solicitation.
An offer must comply with the requirements of the Request for
Standing Offers and meet all mandatory technical evaluation
criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive offer with
the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for issuance of a
standing offer.
5. ESTIMATED FUNDING:
For planning purposes, the Department of National Defence has
established a budget of $300,000.00 (GST/HST extra) for this
requirement. This is not, however, to be construed as an offer
on the part of Canada.
6. PERIOD OF STANDING OFFER:
It is anticipated that any standing offer will be effective for
a period of three (3) years from the date of issue.
7. CODE OF CONDUCT CERTIFICATIONS
Pursuant to section 01 of Standard Instructions 2006, Bidders
who are incorporated, including those bidding as a joint
venture, must provide with their bid or promptly thereafter a
complete list of names of all individuals who are currently
directors of the Bidder. Bidders bidding as sole proprietorship,
including those bidding as a joint venture, must provide with
their bid or promptly thereafter the name of the owner. Bidders
bidding as societies, firms, or partnerships do not need to
provide lists of names. If the required names have not been
received by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada
will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide
the information. Failure to comply will render the bid
non-responsive. Providing the required names is a mandatory
requirement for contract award.
