Requirement:
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for
the procurement of Breeches, Blue, Unisex to be supplied in
various regular and special sizes. All units must be
manufactured in accordance with the RCMP Specification G.S.
1045-078 dated 2013-04-25 provided with the Request for
Proposal. They are to be delivered to the RCMP in Ottawa,
Ontario.

RCMP Specification:
Technical data will be issued to bidders who will order the bid
document from Buy and Sell. Therefore, it is imperative that
this request for bid documentation be done as soon as possible
to ensure timely receipt of the associated technical data.
Notwithstanding, the Crown shall not be held responsible for
untimely release of technical data.

Government Available Material:
The following Government Available Material is required for the
manufacture of these items and must be purchased from the RCMP
(add applicable taxes).

FOB 25 CFSD (Canadian Forces Supply Depot) Montreal:
#9145-000 Cloth, Wool/Lycra, Navy, 153 cm Wide at $23.02/meter

FOB RCMP Stores - Ottawa:
#8552-100 Braid, Wool, Yellow, 1 3/4" Wide at $1.68/meter

Firm Quantity:
This requirement is for a firm quantity of 2,745 pairs of
regular sizes. Delivery of the firm quantity is requested by
December 31, 2013.

"As and When Requested" Quantities - Regular and Special Sizes:
The estimated quantities are 500 pairs for regular sizes and 225
pairs for special sizes to be ordered on an "as and when
requested" basis for a period of 36 months from Contract award
date.

Option Quantities - estimated:
This requirement also includes two options. Each option is to
purchase additional estimated quantities from a minimum of 500
up to a maximum of 1,000 of the firm quantities to be delivered
to Ottawa, ON.

Option 1 is exercisable within 24 months from contract award.
Option 2 is exercisable within 36 months from contract award.

Canadian Content Policy:
This requirement is subject to the Canadian Content Policy and
is solely limited to Canadian Goods.

Enquiries:
To ensure a response before the bid closing date, all enquiries
about this requirement must be submitted in writing and received
by the Contracting Authority at least seven (7) calendar days
prior to the closing date.
