The Municipality of Cypress County (“County” or “Owner”) is issuing this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) to
select and retain a highly qualified, multidisciplinary Design-Build team for the comprehensive, turnkey
delivery of the Cypress County Recreation Facility (CCRF). Designed as a premier regional athletic hub and
community wellness destination, the facility will unite an elite twin-pad ice arena, 8-sheet dedicated curling
complex, conditioning and training studios, municipal administrative suites, commercial food and beverage
amenities, and civic gathering spaces into an energy-efficient, state-of-the-art recreation multiplex. The base
facility design and site infrastructure must also integrate allowances to accommodate a planned future
multi-sport gymnasium fieldhouse and perimeter running track.
