The Canadian Special Operations Forces Command (CANSOFCOM) of the Canadian Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for chartered aircraft services which include specialized communications and sensor equipment to provide Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities.
All service delivery requirements including dates, hours, and locations will be specified in the ensuing Task Authorizations. As many of the service delivery requirements will specify services in in or near Ottawa, Petawawa and Trenton Ontario, the Contractor’s aircraft must be based within 300 nautical miles of Ottawa Ontario.
Term of Contract
The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to 31 March 2020, inclusive.
Option to Extend the Contract
The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to four additional one year period(s) under the same conditions. The Contractor agrees that, during the extended period of the Contract, it will be paid in accordance with the applicable provisions as set out in the Basis of Payment.
