REQ211428/ Request for Data Erasure Software for Shared Services Canada (SSC)for Shared Services Canada (SSC)PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONShared Services Canada (SSC), has a requirement to compete Data Erasure software solution for Government of Canada (GC) Departments and Agencies across Canada at the enterprise level. Data Erasure Software – also known as data wiping, data destruction, data sanitation, and secure deletion software – is a software solution that removes all digital information from electronic storage devices by overwriting data onto all sectors of the storage device in an irreversible process. By overwriting data on the storage device, the information previously stored on that device is rendered completely irrecoverable.
