BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
A pilot project was started several months ago with the purchase of six different standards of ballistic shields. In order to keep with the same standard as our Hard Body armour, the RCMP has decided that a NIJ Level IV shield is the ballistic protection of choice.
The RCMP is looking to research and expand their use of portable ballistic protection to frontline members. We are looking for information from potential supplies on NIJ Level IV Portable Ballistic shields in order to help assist us in developing our requirement.
