Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No
Nature of Requirements:
Government of Canada Relocation Support Services (GCRSS)
Following a series of industry engagement activities, this fourth Request for Information (RFI) on the GCRSS procurement initiative provides industry with 2 draft Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for review and
comments.
Draft RFP #1, attached Annex A, relates to the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) relocation services requirements, with 1 anticipated resultant contract.
Draft RFP #2, attached Annex B, relates to the Treasury Board of Canada Se
cretariat (TBS) and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) relocation
services requirements, with 2 anticipated resultant contracts (i.e. a TBS contract and a RCMP contract).
The administration of relocation services can include: advisory
services (e.g. information on relocation benefits and policies, relocation planning, etc.); financial claims processing; and the creation and maintenance of a list of third-party service providers (i.e. realtors, home inspectors, home appraisers, lawyers/notaries, and rental
search) that includes service standards and ceiling prices.
Please note that these services do not include the physical movement of
household furnishings and effects, which are managed under separate contracts.
The relocationservices to be provided, as described in the applicable annex, varies for each of the anticipated contracts.
This is not a bid solicitation. This RFI will not result in the award
of any contract. As a result, potential suppliers of any goods or services described in this RFI should not reserve stock or facilities, nor allocate resources, as a result of any information contained in this
RFI. Nor will this RFI result in the creation of any source list. Therefore, whether or not any potential supplier responds to this RFI will not preclude that supplier from participating in any future procurement. Also, the procurement of any of the goods and services described in this RFI will not necessarily follow this RFI. This RFI is simply i
ntended to further inform industry with respect to the matters
described in this RFI.
Because this is not a bid solicitation, Canada will not necessarily respond to enquiries in writing or by circulating answers to all potential suppliers. However, respondents with comments, concerns and/
or questions regarding the Draft RFPs may direct their feedback to:
