REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) FOR AIRCRAFT REFUELLING AND GROUND
HANDLING SERVICES OUTSIDE OF CANADA FOR THE ROYAL CANADIAN AIR
FORCE (RCAF)/ DEPARTMENT OF NATIONAL DEFENCE (DND)
RFI PURPOSE - This RFI is to provide information to industry
regarding the requirement and to request feedback from
interested parties on the requirement description, the
procurement strategy, cost estimate, timelines and other related
issues.
POTENTIAL REQUIREMENT - The RCAF/ DND has a requirement for the
provision of aircraft refuelling and ground handling services at
various locations outside Canada.
The objective is to establish a procurement instrument for RCAF/
DND to obtain these services on an "as and when requested basis"
to support its operational requirements at locations outside
Canada where access to allied government/military installations
is unavailable.
NATURE OF REQUEST FOR INFORMATION
The RFI is not a bid solicitation and a Contract will not result
from this activity.
FOLLOW-UP ACTIVITY
Canada may, at its discretion, set up subsequent consultation
mechanisms, including industry day, working group sessions,
one-on-one meetings with each Respondent, and/or contact any
respondent to follow up with additional questions, or for
clarification of any aspect of a response. These activities
form part of the process to finalize the requirement and
procurement strategy before a formal tendering process is
launched.

procurement.
