The Meteorological Service of Canada (MSC), Operational Systems
Engineering (OSE) has the need to acquire an automated piston
gauge pressure reference. This unit is required to support the
traceability of pressure values from the manometer reference in
the National Research Council (NRC) through to the monitoring
stations within the various networks of MSC. The automated
function of this device serves to simplify and expedite the
process of verifying the instruments used in this process, while
reducing human induced errors and improving accuracy. The
instrument must be of a high quality.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North
American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT).
