CMHC wishes to enter into a contract with a consultant consulting services to estimate the cost of building accessibility features into different types of ground-oriented houses (such as a bungalow and townhouse). The successful proponent will be required to:
- finalize a list of accessibility features to be priced, based on an initial list provided by CMHC,
- identify floor-plans for at least three “benchmark” home styles,
- develop base costs for the construction of each of the benchmark homes, and
- estimate the costs for including the identified accessibility features in each home type.
The term of this contract will be 5 months and the annual value of this contract is expected to range from $25K- $35K, including all applicable taxes.
Submissions must be received at the exact location as specified in the RFP document on or before the submission deadline of 2:00 p.m. EDT, on July 11, 2014.
