REQUEST FOR VARIOUS INFORMATION
IN THE REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY OF SUDBURY, ONTARIO
File No. 5400-3/R2-S113
Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) is seeking information for a possible project including the lease of space, purchase of land and design-build services that meets the following criteria:
(A) Lease components
A lease term of up to twenty-five (25) years, commencing on or about the month of April 2015; with the amount of space equal to approximately 1,300 usable square metres (um2) of contiguous office space and special purpose space. The leased premises would be located within the following boundaries:
North: Lasalle Boulevard
East: Falconbridge Road and Highway
South: Lloyd Street/The Kingsway
West: Notre Dame Avenue
An additional section of Falconbridge Road and Highway from Lasalle Boulevard to Cedargreen Drive is also considered part of the boundaries.
The geographical boundaries include sites on either side of the roads. PWGSC may wish to visit or inspect the premises upon reasonable notice. PWGSC’s Standards for Leased Accommodation apply; a copy may be obtained through the contact listed below.
(B) Purchase of land
Vacant land approximately 0.81 hectares (2 acres) in size. The site must be serviced and would be located within the following boundaries:
North: Lasalle Boulevard
East: Falconbridge Road and Highway
South: Lloyd Street/The Kingsway
West: Notre Dame Avenue
An additional section of Falconbridge Road and Highway from Lasalle Boulevard to Cedargreen Drive is also considered part of the boundaries.
The geographical boundaries include sites on either side of the roads.
(C) Design-Build
Design and construction services by owners and developers for the development of 1,300 um2 of contiguous office space and special purpose space.

(E) Response required by
Responses to this Request for Information are required by October 17, 2013, before 5:00 p.m.
(F) Information provided by the owner or an owner’s agent
Information provided by the owner or by the owner’s agent shall include the location of the building, current zoning, specific location of space within the building, area of space, details pertaining to private/public parking facilities, a map showing the location of the land, a site plan, a description of the current zoning, details of services/utilities, a statement as to the nature of respondent’s rights on the land, a statement as to the owner’s interest (lease, design-build, selling of land) and a completed Property Transfer Assessment Questionnaire. PWGSC may request additional information. Agents submitting a response to this Request for Information shall provide PWGSC with a letter from the owner authorizing them to do so. This is not a tender process, nor a request for proposals, but only an inquiry as to the availability of space to lease, design-build services and land for sale. PWGSC will not necessarily invite offers or lease any space. PWGSC may issue an invitation to tender for this possible leasing requirement or other leasing requirements based on information it receives as a result of this advertisement or based on any other information that may come to its attention prior to the closing date of the tender; or it may invite offers by way of public tender.
