Nature of Requirements:
Following a previous unsuccessful procurement process, the Government of Canada has reviewed the requirement for Small Arms Ammunition incineration. In order to refine and complete a new Request for Proposal, there are questions that have arisen during the review process regarding new technical, requirements and clarification.
The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to seek answers to questions that have arisen in the refining of the requirement for the Small Arms Ammunition Incinerator System (SAAIS).
Public Services and Procurement Canada’s (PSPC) intent for this RFI is to engage Industry in a consultative process by seeking Industry feedback via responses to questions identified herein. In addition, there is a requirement to understand the availability and affordability of options on behalf of Canada.
Interested respondents are encouraged to review the questions attached to the RFI and provide comments, answers and/or questions, in writing, to the PSPC Contracting Authority identified herein at Section 6.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
