Request for Standing Offer for Maintenance Repairs and Minor
Alterations, Department of National Defence, 9 Wing Gander, NL

Public Works and Government Services requires a Standing Offer
for the work under this Standing Offer Agreement for the
furinishing of all labour, materials, tools and equipment to
carry out repairs and alterations for the Department of National
Defence at 9 Wing Gander, NL.

The term for the standing offer is for 2 years, on an "as and
when requested basis". A standing offer is an agreement and not
a contract. The Crown reserves the right to award to more than
one contractor.

Under the Code of Conduct and Certification provisions, bidders
must submit the following as part of their bid:

1. A complete list of names of all individuals who are
currently directors of the Bidder.

IMPORTANT NOTE TO BIDDERS:

With the introduction of the new Government Electronic Tendering
Service (GETS III), there are significant changes to Public
Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) solicitations.

Bidders are responsible for obtaining copies of solicitation
forms, special instructions, and specifications which are now
available directly from the MERX site. Bidders will arrange to
print the documents they require at a printer of their choice or
on their own equipment. Addenda, when issued, will be available
from the MERX service provider. It is the responsibility of the
Bidder to ensure that all addenda issued prior to solicitation
