OBJECTIVE:
Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) on Government Road, Indian Head, Saskatchewan has a requirement for a company to provide a Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic to provide labour, parts and material, tools and equipment, transportation and supervision for Refrigeration Services "as and when required".
The Contractor will be required to provide a Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic for maintenance and repair, annual leak testing, installation of new equipment and emergency service when equipment has failed.
BACKGROUND:
The Agroforestry Development Centre is located approximately one mile south of the Town of Indian Head. The Indian Head Research Farm is located east of the Town of Indian Head on the town perimeter road and serves as a sub-station to the Swift Current Research Centre. Facility related operations at both sites will be coordinated through the Research Farm.
Both facilities operate on a five day basis from 0800 to 1630 hours, although some operations are conducted around the clock over extended periods of time.
SERVICES:
Theservices required are detailed in the RFSO document, Appendix B. AAFC anticipates awarding a Standing Offer as soon as possible after closing date; for One (1) year, with anOption to extend for up to Three (3) additional One (1) year Options.
OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:
Bidders have the option to view the site prior to October 19, 2015 by pre-arranging an appointment with the Facilities Officer.
