Nature of Requirements:
SNOW REMOVAL AND ICE CONTROL
Base Construction Engineering at CFB Borden, a part of the
Department of National Defence, has a requirement for a
Contractor to provide Snow Removal and Ice Control services for
selected areas within the confines of CFB Borden.
The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to 31 May
2014 inclusive, with the option to extend for three(3)
additional one (1) year period each.
Mandatory Site Visit
It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for site
visit to be held on 10 October 2013 at 10:00 a.m. , Building
P-154, 16 Ramillies Rd. CFB Borden. Bidders must communicate
with the Contracting Authority no later than 3 day(s) before the
scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the names of
the person(s) who will attend. Bidders will be required to sign
an attendance form. Bidders should confirm in their bids that
they have attended the site visit. Bidders who do not attend or
send a representative will not be given an alternative
appointment and their bids will be rejected as non-compliant.
Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting
from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid
solicitation.
