Public Safety's Digital Services Directorate (DSD) is responsible for delivering and supporting the department's service,
digital, data and technology capabilities. DSD works as a strategic partner to help programs deliver
reliable, accessible and user-centered digital services and achieve intended outcomes.
DSD must modernize aging applications, expand platform-based solutions and automation, improve
service delivery and support defined project and technology-service transitions. This requirement is
structured around four finite departmental initiatives, forecast work volumes and outcome-based
deliverables.
Contractor services will be authorized only through Task Authorizations that identify a named project,
release or service package; finite scope; deliverables; milestones; level of effort; acceptance criteria;
and the TBIPS category and level required to complete the work.
PS requires task-based IT professional services to produce defined outcomes under the following four
initiatives. Each category has one primary initiative and is not duplicated across initiatives.
