Nature of Requirements:
TITLE: DEVICES FOR THE TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT AT CAP-AUX-MEULES

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
.1 The work to be done as indicated in the current contract
consists primarily, but is not limited to:

.1 Supply, install and activate the traffic management devices
consisting of sets of traffic signals with independent solar
panels and remote controllers using a wireless link.

.2 Perform excavations, backfilling, saw cuts and related work
for the installation of new concrete bases for poles.

.3 Supply and install new concrete bases on which the new
traffic management devices will be installed.

.4 Repair concrete sidewalks, fencing, paving, etc. affected by
the work.

.5 Supply and install signs as indicated in the plan.

.6 Perform commissioning and system programming of traffic
signals as described in the specifications.

.7 Remove demolition materials off site for disposal or
recycling

.8 Perform a thorough cleaning of the site to completion.

MANDATORY CRITERIA AT CLOSING DATE

  • The Bidder shall enclose bid security with its bid.

MANDATORY CRITERIA PRIOR TO CONTRACT AWARD

  • INTEGRITY PROVISIONS:

Bidders must provide with their bid or promptly thereafter a
complete list of names of all individuals who are currently
directors of the Bidder. If the required names have not been
received by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada
will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide
the information. Failure to provide the names within the
time-frame specified will render the bid non-responsive.

Canada may, at any time, request that a Bidder provide properly
completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record
Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals
mentioned above within a specified time frame. Failure to
provide such Consent Forms within the time frame provided, or
failure to cooperate to the verification process will result in
the bid being declared non-responsive.

PERIOD OF WORK
The deadline for commissioning is May 29, 2015.

BUDGET
The budget, for this project, is between $50 001 and $200 000
(Taxes extra)
