Requirement: To supply all labour, material and equipment
required to carry out snow plowing and removal, and spread
calcium chloride and treated abrasives, for the Department of
National Defence, Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Kingston, at their
Fort Frontenac, Normandy Hall and Kingston Armoury sites in
Kingston, Ontario, Canada in accordance with the Statement of
Work from date of Contract award to 15 April, 2013.
Canada intends to award one contract.
It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for
site visit to be held on 15 November, 2012 at 08:00 hours (8:00
a.m.). Bidders must meet at 6 Moro Street, Building H36,
McNaughton, at CFB Kingston no later than 07:45 hours (7:45
a.m.). Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority
no later than 2 days before the scheduled visit to confirm
attendance and provide the names of the person(s) who will
attend. Bidders will be required to sign an attendance form.
Bidders should confirm in their bids that they have attended the
site visit. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative
will not be given an alternative appointment and their bids will
be rejected as non-compliant.
It is a mandatory condition of this requirement that offerors
complete and submit their proposals on the Request for Standing
Offer solicitation document provided through the Government
Electronic Tendering System, MERX.
