Objective: Update data of the Georeference Data Base (GDB)
based on Landsat7 or SPOT 4&5 orthoimages, and create a new
generation of digital vector products (Geobase and CanVec). The
Supply Arrangement (SA) method of procurement is used for
contracting out purposes.
The planned production for 2012-13 is between 150 and 300 data
sets at the 1:50 000 scale. The first contracts should be

2. DATA PRODUCTION FOR THE NATIONAL HYDROGRAPHIC NETWORK (NHN)
The team of the NHN Project is currently implementing a new
acquisition process aimed at validating and involving specific
aspects of the NHN. This new process, produced by NHN working
unit (drainage area) and will among others assure:
· the hydro network geometry continuity;
· the continuity and the logic of the flow direction;
· the continuity of network related toponymy.
The contracted-out work scheduled for 2012-13 is estimated at 20
NHN Working Units (watersheds). A budget of approximately 40
000.00$ is allocated for this production.
