This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the provision of Database Administration (DBA) Support Services to the Office of the Auditor General of Canada (OAG). The OAG requires database administration support services to assist in the management of the current Oracle & SQL production environments. These support services include assistance with database management, database object and security management, performance tuning/optimization, jobs scheduling (including backups) and any other work related to the role of a database administrator.
This RFP describes the process by which a supplier, who is the person or entity submitting a proposal responding to the requirements of the RFP and having legal capacity to contract (a “Bidder”), may be selected for recommendation of contract award. The resulting contract will be for a term of two (2) years, plus an irrevocable option for the OAG to extend the term for up three (3) additional one (1) year periods.
