FCC currently has outsourced infrastructure and network services, with a contract scheduled to expire in June 2016. In advance of the contract expiry, FCC will issue an RFP for the outsourced infrastructure and network services as well as other services at its discretion. The current planned completion date of the procurement process (selection of successful vendors and completed contract negotiations) is December 2015, to allow time for transition to new vendor(s) if necessary.
The purpose of this RFP is to seek responses from qualified vendors/consultants to assist FCC’s Information Technology Division in all aspects of this procurement process. See the section “Requirements” of the RFP for more detail.
This is a request for services only. FCC may, at its sole discretion, elect not to accept any submission for any reason. FCC is not obligated to proceed and may cancel this RFP at any time.
The tentative RFP for Services schedule is as follows:
RFP issue date: February 2, 2015
Respondent questions accepted until: February 9, 2015 at 12 p.m. CST
FCC responses to respondent questions provided before: February 13, 2015 at 12 p.m. CST
RFP closing date/time: February 20, 2015 at 12 p.m. CST
Anticipated selection of preferred vendor: March 6, 2015 at 12 p.m. CST
Note: The above dates are subject to change at FCC’s sole discretion. Respondents will be advised if they have been selected to continue in the RFP process. Any changes to the RFP for Services schedule will be communicated to all Respondents that are still under consideration at that point in the process.
