The work under this contract consists of the construction of a
confined disposal facility (CDF) at Pointe-Sapin, Kent County,
New Brunswick, harbour dredging (201), place dry spoils at
Loggie's Pit, surcharging the spoils upon completion of
dredging, and site restoration. All work is to be performed in
accordance with the plans and specifications for PWGSC Project
Number R.057312.001 forming part of the bid document.
The work is to be completed within twenty-eight (28) weeks after
contract award.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: New measures related to Code of Conduct and
certifications included in the solicitation documents requires
attention.
A public bid opening will be held at the Bid Receiving Unit,
Room 421, 189 Prince William Street, Saint John, N.B.
The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following
category: $250,001 - $500,000 (HST included).

Standard bid and contract security for construction is required.
Pursuant to GC6 - Delays and Changes in Work of the General
Conditions, the resulting construction contract will include the
provisions for changes in the work at the request of the
Departmental Representative.
Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and
downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
paper version. Bidders should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1)
contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which
consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized
directory structure.
Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain
tender documents through the MERX services provider. Addenda,
when issued, will be available from the MERX provider. Firms
that elect to base their bids on tender documents obtained from
other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely
responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their
intention to bid.
