Full description

Public Services and Procurement Canada, on behalf of Fisheries and Oceans Canada, is seeking qualified contractors for marine construction services at the Bedford Institute of Oceanography Jetty in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The work generally consists of the removal and replacement of floating marine fender systems and associated anchorage hardware.
This procurement will be conducted using a two-phase selection process consisting of an Invitation to Qualify (ITQ) followed by an Invitation to Tender (ITT). Only suppliers that meet the qualification requirements of the ITQ will be invited to participate in the subsequent ITT phase. Qualified suppliers with experience acting as General Contractors on marine construction projects are encouraged to respond.
There is no security requirement associated with this procurement.
The work is expected to be substantially completed within 34 weeks of contract award.
All enquiries relating to this solicitation are to be submitted to the Contracting Authority through SAP Ariba.
