NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT
Electrical Load Banks
Description of the Requirement:
The Department of National Defence (DND), more specifically Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) is seeking to procure Electrical Load Banks as part of Over The Horizon Radar (OTHR) Initiative for field trials at an Arctic site as well as for the OTHR test bed at the DRDC Ottawa Shirley’s Bay test site.
All the deliverables must be ready for shipping no later than ninety (90) days after Contract award.
Applicable Trade Agreements:
Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA); and
Canada-Korea Free Trade Agreement.
Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement:
This procurement is subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.
Requirement Details:
It is DND’s intention to award a single contract for this requirement.
Requirements and Deliverables are detailed in Annex Statement of Requirement of the RFP.
The Mandatory Criteria and Inuit Benefit Plan Criteria are detailed in the Solicitation of Offers.
The basis of selection shall be the Highest Combined Rating of Inuit Benefits Plan Commitment and Price – Not Limited to Inuit Firm Registry
The Crown retains the rights to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
There is currently no contract in place for this requirement.
DND reserves the right not to award a contract, regardless of the proposals received.
Where this notice and the RFP differ, the RFP shall prevail.
