Scope of Work:
Work under this contract covers the work involved in the rehabilitation of tree pits located on Wellington and Elgin street, Ottawa, Ontario and includes, but is not limited to, the supply and installation of the following:
.1 Removal of remaining stumps and roots within tree pits.
.2 Rehabilitating tree pits.
.3 Planting of trees within tree pits and in grass areas.
.4 Converting tree pits to concrete sidewalk or cobblestone walkway.
.5 Plant material maintenance and warranty to Spring 2018.
Time of Completion:
Unless otherwise indicated, the work of this Contract shall be completed in two parts.
Part 1:
A. Install all sixteen (16) or as many Common Hackberry until frost is in the ground or until notified by NCC representative.
B. Close all indicated tree pits until advised by NCC representative due to cold weather.
Part 2: Complete all remaining work in spring of 2016 when frost is no longer in the ground.
A Substantial complete to be in spring of 2016. (maintenance excepted).
B On-site work shall be limited from Monday to Friday, unless approved by the Contract Administrator.

The procurement process of this tender is subject to Chapter 5 on the Agreement on Internal Trade.
