Scope of Work
The Canada Revenue Agency is a 2-storey building, which was
constructed in around 1956 and underwent asbestos abatement
between 2008 and 2011.
The renovation work of GOCB involves, but is not limited to, the
following:
1. Local demolition where affected and may be affected by
renovation work;
2. Construction of a new acoustic barrier around existing
rooftop chiller;
3. Construction of a new structural steel framing to support new
silencers;
4. Local reinforcing of existing structural steel framing;
5. Roofing around roof penetrations;
6. Complying with the requirements noted in the designated
substance survey report and associated documents.
MANDATORY SITE VISIT:
A Mandatory site visit will be held on 30 April 2013 at 17:30
hours at the site. Interested bidders are to meet in the
parking lot at the Canada Revenue Agency building, 11 Station
Street, Belleville, On., K8N 2S3.
The site visit for this project is MANDATORY. The
representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site
Visit attendance sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by
Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be
accepted. Bidders must register with the Contracting Officer,

to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s)
who will attend, 24 hours prior to the site visit.
The duration of work is schedule to be completed fifteen (15)
weeks from date of award.
Closing date: 9 May 2013, at 14:00 HOURS.
Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and
downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1)
contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which
consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized
directory structure.
