The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for
one (1) Senior Engineer to support the Aerospace and
Telecommunications Engineering Support Squadron (ATESS) and the
CH146 Griffon Weapons System Manager (WSM) in support of ATESS.
DND operates a fleet of eighty-four (84) CH146 Griffon
Helicopters. The Griffon helicopters fulfil various domestic
and expeditionary operations including search and rescue, combat
support and escort, reconnaissance and surveillance, special
forces, utility airlift and force generation (training)
activities. The ATESS Design Teams provide design and
development services to all RCAF aircraft fleets. The recent
operational tempo has resulted in a backlog of structural design
and development projects, especially in support of the CH146
Griffon helicopter

The period of the Contract is for two (2) years from date of
Contract award with an irrevocable option to extend the term of
the Contract by up to two additional one year periods.

This Bid Solicitation is issued against the Technical
Engineering and Maintenance Services Supply Arrangement (TEMS
SA), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) File
No. E60ZH-070002, all terms and conditions of the TEMS SA apply
and shall be incorporated into any resulting contract. The
requirement described herein is open only to PWGSC TEMS
Pre-qualified suppliers in the following TEMS SA Stream: Stream
2 - General Engineering and Related Services.

This requirement is covered under the North American Free Trade
Agreement (NAFTA), Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) and World
Trade Organization Agreement on Government Opportunities
(WTO-AGP).
